The location was ideal for an overnight stop near to the airport, without being too close to the city.
Staff were not very well organised. There were some regulars in who seemed to get plenty of attention whilst it took a long time for me to be seen/seated/served etc.
Rear of hotel and recently completed conservatory are very pleasant. The hotel will be very nice, once all work has been completed.
The hotel is undergoing refurbishment with aspects of the hotel still resembling a buildings site. Service in general is somewhat unprofessional. Some public toilets are still not completed (Ladies)
Good all round team
Once the revamping of the hotel is completed it will be very good, need to get the hot water working, will look forward to next visit.
the hotel needs a complete refurbishment - the particular room I stayed in the wall paper was peeling of the walls, there was cobwebs hanging from the corners of the room which can be easily seen by the naked eye, the bathroom bin had not been emptied by the cleaners when the previous guest vacated the room, the floors in both the bathroom and the bedroom need replacing, worst of all the bed even though it had been changed the sheet was put straight onto the mattress without there being a mattress protector! I would not even sleep inside the bed covers I slept on the top of the bed. In its current state this hotel does not deserve the 3 star rating it has..... I shall certainly not want to stay there again. Outside of the above the c
Attitude of the staff, very helpfull and friendly.
Lovely part of the country; the Manor House itself looked fabulous (didn't see much of it as off-limits due to a weekend wedding underway in all of the reception rooms/dining room!) but the bedrooms are unfortunately tired and run down in a separate ugly block tacked onto the side of the main house.
The plumbing is in dire need of attention - after showering, our taps wouldn't turn off and the bath threatened to over-run until we managed to bash the shower switch down. Had to use another room's facilities for my partner to shower, when exactly the same thing happened there. Unsatisfactory. Also wasn't pleased that we hadn't been forewarned of the hotel's booking of a wedding that weekend - half of the hotel was off limits, no dining faciilties etc and the noise from the party's guests was troublesome until the early hours. A complaint to the receptionist and promised response from the hotel manager has been so far unforthcoming (3 days after departure).
Excellent service, lovely clean rooms, set in attractive gardens, friendly staff
Convenient location. Large car park.
Mould in bathroom and dirty curtain (strange as the hotel had apparently just been refurbished !) Smokers were allowed to congregate on entrance steps and main doorway and so pollute the inside of the reception area and impede entry. All ground floor rooms were designated "smoking rooms" Not enough staff on duty to attend reception. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.
The comfort of the rooms and the cleanliness of the rooms. The staff were all polite and helpful during the stay. The security measures in place seemed excellent. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were great value for money compared to other hotels we investigated e.g. Travelodge, Premier Inn
The grounds were not cleared after a wedding reception in the evening. As a consequence, there were beer glasses and empty bottles in the garden and car park after the breakfast. The grounds & gardens were lovely although could be improved with some tidying and weeding.
Basic Rooms and small bathroom but clean and sufficient for the price. Public area's very nice.
Food was fairly good and their new spa complex was very quiet (so no competition for the treadmill etc). Very convenient location for those who are down for business trips to the nearby offices in Headless Cross.
The walls between the rooms were a little thin - make sure you bring earplugs if you neighbour likes watching the telly very loudly at night!
the all you can eat breakfast, although the egg was slightly off colour.
The room smelt like paint, it was a little bit like a maze to find your room but it was a lovely hotel.
Everything was excellent, real personal service from the staff.
the food and service was excellent, nice and relaxing after a hard day we will come back again
Very comfortabl. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff.
choice of tea/coffee facilities in room. could do with better range of products
